ROCHESTER, NY -- Lattini Sunflower Milk, a new plant-based milk alternative on the market, is gaining national traction at retail stores from coast to coast. Lattini produces sustainable plant-based products made with organic sunflowers that are water-smart, allergen-free, and flavor-forward. The trio of sunflower milks - in Original, Unsweetened, and Chocolate - are their first innovation.

“I wanted to create something that I personally enjoyed drinking,” remarked co-founder Jared Lynch. Lynch was sensitive to dairy and was looking for a lower-calorie milk. Lattini co-founder Nicholas Romano wanted something that was healthier for him and better for the planet. The innovators were surprised to discover that current plant-based milks couldn’t hit the mark on the three things that were most important to them - great taste, good for you and good for the environment.

It turns out that Lynch and Romano aren’t the only ones looking for a beverage like Lattini. Retailers have shown excitement too. The company has scaled to more than 600 retailers since launching in June of 2022. By the end of 2024, consumers will be able to find Lattini on shelves at more than 500 new locations including:

●      Sprouts Farmers Market (Nationwide)
●      PCC Community Markets (Northwest)
●      Erewhon (California)
●      Gelson's Market (California)
●      Nugget (Northern CA)
●      Better Health (Midwest)
●      Festival Foods (Wisconsin)
●      Central Market (Texas)
●      Wegmans (Northeast)
●      Mom’s Organic Market (East Coast)
●      Amazon.com

Sunflower milk is allergen-free and ranks higher than dairy milk in Vitamin E, Copper, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Selenium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron, and Folate according to Foodstruct.com. Sunflower seeds are also said to be higher in minerals and vitamins than almonds and oats.

“We’re excited to see Lattini gaining traction in new retailers and with consumers,” says Romano. He and Lynch worked on the research and development for Lattini for months before landing on the current formulation. “Once we knew we had the nutrition and sustainability locked down, we wanted to be sure the taste was great too. There are too many products out there that tout their nutrition but just don’t taste good. We wanted Lattini to get high marks in all categories.”

This isn’t the first time Lynch and Romano have scaled a food brand that consumers love. They have 15+ years of experience building award-winning and nationally available CPG food products. Lattini’s co-founders have big dreams for the brand. “Lattini is the only sunflower milk on the market,” says Lynch. "We’re excited to get the product in front of as many people as possible right now because we know that once they taste it, they’re going to love it.”
